Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement

The owners of Aspen Ridge RV Park welcomes responsible pet owners to stay at their RV Park.  Although we realize how important pets can be, we must consider the close proximity of neighbors in an RV community including other pets residing in the park.  Please be mindful that some people are afraid of dogs.  Therefore we ask that all of our Guidelines below are followed while you stay with us.

All pets must be registered at the office at check-in.  Maximum of 3 dogs per site.  We have the right to refuse any animal from being brought into the park based on size, breed or past history.  Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement will be provided at check-in and agreed upon at check-in.

ALL pets (remember cats are pets too, and the guidelines apply to them), must be under control and visual observation of their owner at all times.  Pets cannot be let out and allowed to run loose at any time.  All pets must be leashed/tethered at all times outside of your RV, within your site area and on park property.  If pets are attached to a leash, it must be secured (pets cannot drag leash around).  A pet may never be tied up outside of an RV and left unattended. Length of outside hooker or leash cannot be longer than 20 feet.

Outside kennels must be approved by management.  Pets in kennels cannot be left unattended. Do not place kennels on concrete patios or allow them to potty on the concrete patios.

Pets must be walked by a responsible person who is able to control them in an immediate situation and who must pick up after them immediately.

Keep our park nice for everyone and use our Dog Run available in the rear of the park.  Be prepared, you are responsible to clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of it properly, this includes around your site, dog run, park entrance, front fence line to road and sidewalks, and anywhere within the property.

Pets are not allowed in park buildings.  Do not bathe your pet in the Clubhouse showers or use one of our site hydrants (because of strict well water restrictions).  Do not walk your pets in or around common gathering areas (Fire Pit areas, Club House, Tin Top Cafe) or individual guest sites in case they decide to do their business around these areas.

Should a pet decide it’s time for business in a common guest area, please clean it up immediately.  Urine needs to have a bucket of water splashed on it, we have a pooper-scooper available at the office for those unexpected accidents.  If needed, bags are available for purchase in the office.

No aggressive or constantly barking dogs.  Pets are not to be left unattended in campers (because they bark).  If this occurs, you will be notified and be expected to return immediately to resolve.

Behavior in dogs can be impulsive, unpredictable, and even dangerous.  Aggressive behavior includes growling, lip lifting, barking, snapping, lunging and biting.  You will be asked to leave the park if your dog shows any aggressive tendencies or verified complaints.

Aspen Ridge RV Park has the right to refuse any animal from being brought into the park.  Aspen Ridge RV Park is not responsible for damages or injuries caused by pets.  Pet owners assume all liabilities for damages or injuries caused by their pets to park guests, owners, park employees, vehicles, landscaping, guests belongs.  Compliance of this Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement is mandatory.  Guests will be asked to leave the property with no refund if there are complaints from guests, or not following the Pet Owner Responsibility Agreement rules.
