Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement

The owners of Aspen Ridge RV Park welcomes responsible pet owners to stay at their RV Park. Although we realize how important pets can be, we must consider the close proximity of neighbors in an RV community including other pets residing in the park. Everyone needs to be mindful that children do not always know that a dog can be mean and that some people are afraid of, or are allergic to animals. Therefore for the safety of all we ask that our Guidelines are followed while you stay with us. Your compliance is very much appreciated and will ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.

All pets must be registered at the office at check-in. Maximum of 3 dogs per site. We have the right to refuse any animal from being brought into the park based on size, breed or past history. Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement will be provided and agreed upon by all registered guests at check-in.

Registered Guests who have visitors to stay with them with pets will need to sign the Pet Owner Responsibility and Agreement upon arrival, Visitor pets will count towards total number of pets allowed per site.

ALL pets (remember cats are pets too, and the guidelines apply to them), must be under control and visual observation of their owner at all times. Pets cannot be let out and allowed to run loose at any time. All pets must be leashed or tethered at all times outside of your RV, within your site area and on park property. If pets are attached to a leash, it must be kept secured by a responsible person at all times. A pet may never be tied up outside of an RV and left unattended. Length of outside hooker or leash cannot be longer than 20 feet.

Outside kennels must be approved by management. Pets in kennels cannot be left unattended. Do not place kennels on concrete patios or allow them to potty on the concrete patios.

Pets must be walked by a responsible person who is able to control them in an immediate situation and who must pick up after them immediately.

Keep our park nice for everyone and use our Dog Run available in the rear of the park. Be prepared, you are responsible to clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of it properly, this includes around your site, dog run, park entrance, front fence line to road and sidewalks, and anywhere within the property.

Pets are not allowed in park buildings. Do not bathe your pet in the Clubhouse showers or use one of our water hydrants (because of strict well water restrictions). Do not walk your pets on community grass areas or other common gathering areas. Should a pet decide it’s time for business in a common guest area or other campsite, please clean it up immediately. If needed, bags are available for purchase in the office.

NO washing or drying of animal linens in park laundry facilities. Unwanted animal hair, dandruff, etc. is left behind to the person following you and could be harmful if the person following you has an allergen to animals.

No aggressive or constantly barking dogs. Pets are not to be left unattended in campers mainly because they bark while they are left alone.. If this occurs, you will be notified and be expected to return immediately to resolve.

Behavior in dogs can be impulsive, unpredictable, and even dangerous. Aggressive behavior includes growling, lip lifting, barking, snapping, lunging and biting. You will be asked to leave the park if your dog shows any aggressive tendencies or verified complaints.

Aspen Ridge RV Park has the right to refuse any animal from being brought into the park. Aspen Ridge RV Park is not responsible for damages or injuries caused by pets.
